VIA MONTENAPOLEONE MOVERS & SHAKERS
VALENTINO SAVE THE DATE. Opening February 18 2012. Valentino woman, which is renovating its historic location at Via Montenapoleone 20, will reopen its flagship at Via Montenapoleone 20. Cartier, which is renovating its historic bulding at Via Montenapoleone 16 has moved temporarily to Via Sant’Andrea 11, to line up between Armani/Casa and Church’s, where the Kenzo flagship store used to be. Restyling also for HOGAN shop at Via Montenapoleone 23.

VIA GESU' : ACQUA DI PARMA OPENING
Italian fragrance maison Acqua di Parma , owned by French giant LVMH , opened the door of its new enlarged boutique in Milan, Via del Gesů 17 - corner Via Montenapoleone, occupying now, also the space vacated by Walter Steiger. The new flagship covers an expanded surface of almost 150 sqm with 5 windows and reflects Acqua di Parma’s most ingrained values: understated elegance, a taste for perfection and unmistakably Italian craftsmanship.

“Since its debut in 1916 in Parma, Italy, Acqua di Parma has become a symbol in the world of excellence and quality: Made in Italy – declares Gabriella Scarpa, President of Acqua di Parma. With this new boutique, we wish to conjure up a special place, an elegant, refined mansion in which our customers can rediscover the style and values of the brand with which they identify themselves. The new Milan boutique is the home of Acqua di Parma, the place that best represents the essence of the brand and which will be the model for further boutiques to be opened worldwide.”

To celebrate the inauguration of the new flagship, Acqua di Parma has created a limited edition of the brand’s iconic fragrance: Colonia, the Italian cologne since 1916 and the Jumbo Cube Candle , an exclusive impressive sculpture of perfume and light : nine kilos of hand-moulded extra pure wax.

The new flagship of Acqua di Parma features the full range of fragrances and beauty products, accessories such as bathrobes, slippers, travel beauty cases, as well as a barber shop, which will be available by advance reservation, starting February 20th.

This is the first Acqua di Parma store which includes a barber shop, using the full line of men's shaving and grooming products.
VIA DELLA SPIGA : UPCOMING OPENING

While waiting for Longchamp Paris to come at Via della Spiga 6, occupying the big space vacated by Bulgari, Pollini, luxury footwear, is going to open its own-branded shop in Via della Spiga 15, next to Miu Miu boutique, in the space vacated by Cucinelli Cashmere. Cucinelli moved to Via della Spiga 30.

VIA MANZONI : UPCOMING OPENING
Waiting for Mr Classic: Jeremy Hackett. A ‘Heritage’ That’s Oh-So-British. The Armani global store at no. 31 via Manzoni will soon have a new neighbour across the road, as doors open at the flagship Hachett London store. Stay tuned readers....we will update you about Mr Classic.
