Even though there was only three of them, Inna, Sacha and Xenia, the protesting models from Ukrainian feminist group Femen caused quite a stir outside the show.

FEMEN is a Kiev-based Ukrainian social movement and provocative women's movement in Ukraine, founded in 2008 by Anna Hutsol. The organisation states its goals as 'to develop leadership, intellectual and moral qualities of the young women in Ukraine' and 'to build up the image of Ukraine, the country with great opportunities for women'. The organisation became internationally known for organizing topless protests against sex tourists, international marriage agencies, sexism and other social, national and international ills.

Egypt. Egyptian women protest against army attacks on female demonstrators .

Around 10,000 women have marched through central Cairo demanding Egypt's ruling military step down in an unprecedented show of outrage over soldiers who dragged women by the hair and stomped on them, and stripped one half-naked in the street.

ALIA MAGDA

Aliaa Magda Elmahdy (born 1991) is an Egyptian internet activist and women's rights advocate. Together with her boyfriend Kareem Amer, Elmahdy publicly challenged Egypt’s social structures. Elmahdy became known for publishing a nude photo in her Blogspot blog, which she described in Facebook as "screams against a society of violence, racism, sexism, sexual harassment and hypocrisy". Since then she became a subject of several death threats.

THE NATIONAL WOMAN'S PARTY
The National Woman’s Party, representing the militant wing of the suffrage movement, utilized open public demonstrations to gain popular attention for the right of women to vote in the United States. Their picketing, pageants, parades, and demonstrations—as well as their subsequent arrests, imprisonment, and hunger strikes—were successful in spurring public discussion and winning publicity for the suffrage cause.
